What this season is, and what it is not
Ten weeks, online, in teams of six. Teams study bio-absorbable metal suture anchors (BIOMAG) and the sibling CFL labs (Thermal Suture Cutter; Sternotomy and Rib Splint; Helmet research). The outcome is a Relay Packet and a Game Day brief the next cohort can inherit. Education lab, not a clinic. Not a 510(k). Not an offering of securities. CFL is a Florida 501(c)(3); rankings are educational; CFL does not raise capital for any venture; any future capital raising would be separate from this course, through independent, regulated channels, and is never part of class work. No human or animal testing in this course. This course teaches literacy; it does not authorize the manufacture, implant, sale or clinical use of any device.

The seats
One person in each seat. Each seat has its own duty every week.
Clinical problem
Owns the injury story and the problem brief. Keeps the team on the injury, not the gadget, and keeps every clinical word inside the hard stops.
Materials
Owns alloy literacy (Mg, Fe, Zn against polymer and Ti / PEEK anchors), finds and cites the alloy reviews, and leads the bench-only protocol.
Regulatory
Owns the FDA map (MAI / MBI, 510(k), De Novo, PMA, Q-Sub, ISO 10993) and the regulatory sketch. Map only; never prints "FDA ready".
Market
Owns discovery interviews, the interview log and the buyer map (ASC and hospital).
Venture ops
Owns the FTO memo and landscape, IP status, contacts and the Relay Packet's assembly. Keeps the capital line.
Captain
Runs the Thursday call, the charter and the calendar; makes sure each Sunday artifact is in; leads the Game Day brief and the handoff.
What every member signs

Each member signs: this is an education lab, not a clinic; no human or animal testing; no clinical, efficacy or safety claims; the Helmet patent stays CFL-owned. A certificate gate.
The certificate
The certificate is educational only and is earned, not given. All of these must be met: a quiz average of 80% or better across the ten Wednesday quizzes; at least 8 of the 10 Thursday calls (one excused absence is allowed and is made up by watching the recording); an individual 2-page seat memo, accepted; a passing team Relay Packet; a signed non-clinical / IP acknowledgment; and not removed from the team. A person reviews and awards it; nothing is awarded automatically.
Time commitment
10 weeks, Monday of week 1 to Sunday of week 10. Each week: the Monday module, the Wednesday quiz, a required 75-minute call on Thursday, and your seat’s share of the Sunday team artifact.

Before the season kicks off you can withdraw freely: no penalty, and you are welcome to stay on as a fan.
