In return
What donors actually get
- Impact reports — quarterly at minimum, monthly for Team Builder, weekly for Founding Partner, straight from the programmes your gift funds.
- Recognition — a donor-wall badge at Mission Supporter, direct team updates at Team Builder, and an annual innovation award naming at Founding Partner.
- A tax receipt — 100% of every gift is tax-deductible; CFL is a Florida 501(c)(3), EIN 42-2301598. You get a receipt by email immediately, and a year-end summary in January.
- Showcase access — Team Builder and above are invited to the annual CFL showcase.

Where it goes
What your gift pays for
Gifts fund the league season itself — the coaching, the curriculum and the competition. They never buy equity in anybody’s venture, because CFL does not take any.

Keeping the league compliant — the filings, and the checks on who we let in
Capital Forge League is a Florida 501(c)(3). What was actually spent, and on what, is in our IRS filings rather than in a figure written on this page.
“The best co-founders aren’t found in business school. They’re forged in service and competition.”
Asked and answered
Donor questions
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes — 100%. Capital Forge League is a registered 501(c)(3). You will receive a donation receipt by email immediately, and a year-end summary in January.
Can I donate to a specific team?
No. All donations support CFL’s general charitable programmes. Directing gifts to a specific individual or team would create private benefit, which nonprofit status does not allow.
Does my donation give me equity?
No. Donations are charitable gifts, not investments — they do not purchase equity or entitle you to financial returns. CFL does not offer, arrange or point donors to investment in any team’s company.
How do I know it is used well?
CFL publishes its annual IRS Form 990, audited financial statements, and quarterly impact reports.
